Hi, I’m Bruce Fleck. I have passion for learning how to improve my life and help others do the same. I am a lifelong learner studying engineering, business and psychology.
For over 25 years, I have eagerly absorbed self-improvement programs from Napoleon Hill’s “Think and Grow Rich” to today’s multimedia affirmations and brainwave entrainment technology.
I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Psychology to integrate cutting edge technology with the latest discoveries in neuroscience and time tested self-improvement principles.
I founded Mighty Midlifers.com based upon four foundational principles:
- Every person has tremendous potential within their conscious and subconscious mind.
- Our current position in life is based upon our current set of beliefs, both limiting and empowering.
- Any person can create new empowering beliefs if they are open to learning and willing to work.
- We can achieve success in any area of life by creating empowering beliefs and taking action.
Our singular goal at Mighty Midlifersis to help people find more success, and therefore more happiness in life. We do this through education, awareness and self-improvement exercises.
Human Belief System
Our belief system lives in our subconscious mind. 95% of our daily decisions are made automatically by our subconscious mind. While we think our conscious mind is in control, the truth is our subconscious mind is making almost all the decisions.
Each of us is both the elephant and the boy. Our subconscious mind is like an elephant. It does not understand words or language. It lives in the world of experience with sensory memories and emotions.
Our subconscious mind is a key piece of our evolutionary survival mechanism. Like the elephant, our subconscious mind’s primary purpose is to keep us safe.
Out of Our Comfort Zone
However, success never comes from playing it safe in our comfort zone. Instead, we must venture out and try new things. We must fail, and keep on failing until we succeed. These are not beliefs that our subconscious mind is comfortable with. Therefore, we must use our conscious mind to train our subconscious mind just like the young man trained his elephant.
